Due to low temperatures and harsh weather conditions, we may not be able to ship animals immediately. For the safety of our animals, we will not ship if the weather in our area or the receiving area is expected to be below 38 degrees F. SHIPPING PROCEDURE

At this time, we are shipping live animals to FedEx hubs ONLY. Residential shipping is not an option. Live animal shipments across the country are experiencing delays, and shipping to a residence or business is almost certain to be delayed significantly. The best way to ensure a package gets shipped overnight is to ship directly to a FedEx hub.

This means that the customer will have to travel to the hub to pick up the animal. We understand that this may be an inconvenience to some, but it is the safest course of action during this time. Ball pythons, hatchlings especially, get very stressed during shipping and we do not want to risk them being in transit for longer than what is absolutely necessary.

We will be shipping on Tuesdays and Wednesdays ONLY. These are the safest days to ship, when mail traffic is the least busy. This will help us ensure that your animal gets to you on time. These are also the only days when shipping insurance is available. Keep in mind that this means your pickup will be on a Wednesday or Thursday. There will be no exceptions.

We will work with you to determine the date and location of your pickup. When we receive your address for shipping, we will inform you about your closest FedEx hub to which we can ship the animal. We will send you the hub's address, estimated travel time, and directions if desired.
SHIPPING INSURANCE

All live animal shipments we conduct are insured through ShipYourReptiles. They have recently put out On-Time and Live Arrival insurance policies with limited eligibility. These policies are relatively new and may be changed or updated in the future, but we will keep everyone posted if anything does change. We will only ship if the shipment meets all the standards to qualify for insurance. This includes shipping within their Tuesday-Wednesday window, proper packaging, and other things for us to worry about and not you.

What are the terms of this insurance? To put it simply, if your animal arrives late, even a minute after its specified arrival time, and even if the animal is in perfect health, the shipping price will be fully refunded. If the animal arrives late and DOA (dead on arrival), you will be fully refunded for both the shipping and the cost of the animal.
